TennisBFF helps you find compatible tennis partners, plan matches around your schedule, and anchor to a home court. To do that we collect some personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

01Information we collect

We collect information you give us and information generated as you use the app:

• Account & profile. Your name, email, age, photos, skill level, playing style, availability, and your home court.
• Verification. A selfie used to confirm your profile photos are really you. We process it to verify identity and do not share it.
• Activity. Matches you plan, games you join, messages you send, and players you connect with.
• Location. Approximate location to surface nearby players, courts, and leagues. You can limit this in your device settings.
• Device & usage. Device type, app version, and diagnostic data to keep the app working and secure.

02How we use it

• Match you with compatible players at your level, court, and schedule.
• Let you coordinate and confirm games and matches in advance.
• Verify profiles to keep the community real and reduce catfishing.
• Send you match reminders and relevant notifications.
• Maintain safety, prevent abuse, and enforce our community guidelines.

03What we share

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

• With other players. Your profile (name, photos, level, home court, general area) is visible to players you can be matched with.
• Service providers. Infrastructure partners such as Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication, notifications) and identity-verification services that process data on our behalf.
• Legal & safety. When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

04Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your profile and personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain certain records for legal or safety reasons.

05Your choices

• Access, update, or correct your profile information at any time in the app.
• Control location and notification permissions from your device settings.
• Delete your account, which removes your profile from discovery.
• Contact us to request a copy or deletion of your personal data.

06Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to notify you if a breach affects you.

07Children

TennisBFF is for adults. You must be at least 18 to use the app. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

08Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
