Delete your account

You can delete your TennisBFF account and personal data at any time — directly in the app, or by emailing us if you can no longer sign in. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what we're required to keep.

01Delete from inside the app

The fastest way, if you can still sign in:

• Open TennisBFF and go to the You (profile) tab.
• Open Settings.
• Tap Delete account.
• Confirm by tapping Delete my account.

This permanently deletes your account and removes your profile from discovery immediately.

02Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email privacy@tennisbff.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days.

03What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes your personal data, including:

• Your profile — name, email, date of birth, gender, and skill level.
• Your photos and any identity-verification selfie.
• Your home court, general area, and location data.
• Your messages, games, matches, and league participation.
• Your device and push-notification identifiers.

04What we keep, and for how long

Your data is deleted within 30 days of your request. We may retain a limited set of records for longer only where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons, and only for as long as the law requires. Content you shared with other players (for example, messages you sent them) may remain visible to those recipients.
